I've created an entity queue and I am editing one of my views in order to use it as a sort criteria.

I'm having some difficulty getting it working, and I'm not sure where the breakdown is. I've added the Taxonomy term Queue Position as a Sort Criteria. However, that value is not available to add as a field.

It would be very helpful to me as a developer to see the actual value of the Queue Position as a field in the view. That would tell me for certain, at a glance, if I have the relationships set up correctly.

I agree that having the position as a field would be very nice. Committed the patch attached to 8.x-1.x to provide this ability.
