In Drupal 7, the Syndicate block provided by the module is essentially a copy of core's Syndicate block, with an added "more" link pointing to /sitemap.

I'm not sure what configurations were available for D7, but we should aim for parity if possible. Configurations should be documented here before development begins (update this issue summary!).

When the block is displayed (in D8), we get a WSOD with the following:

Fatal error: Call to a member function cacheUntilEntityChanges() on boolean in /Users/Swan/Sites/locals/d8-sandbox.local/core/modules/block/src/BlockAccessControlHandler.php on line 139
