some more details i recently noticed:

for 5.x-1.x-dev (2007-Sep-04):
Firefox: info window pops up
IE 7: info window doesn't show

I'm sorry. The previous comment is obsolete since i forgot to tweak user settings for this two different browser sesions. The intential problem is still there and reproduced.

Certainly possible. I *did* change the code that pops up infowindows yesterday.

Whoops, I was stomping on the marker after binding the events. Committed this patch to DRUPAL-5, feel free to apply locally.
