So I'm using DHTML menus in my site, and I love the way they work. I'm trying to add images to the parent item of each menu and also have a background image behind the children. I'm able to get the images in place where I want them (sort of), but I can't get rid of the bullet points. If I remove them from my themes css, they are also gone if I add a bullet list to the content. Basically I want to be able to keep bullets in the content and remove them from the side navs that I have set up. I'm sure there is a CSS work around for this, I just can't figure it out. I've looked through the forum for similar issues, but none really helped me to figure out what I'm looking for.

You can see an example of what I'm trying to do below. You'll notice the bullets are still showing in my side menu. If anyone can help me out that would be awesome. Thanks in advance.
