I have a problem with the way RSS feeds work in Drupal and I was wondering if there's any way to get around it. I run a collaborative blog website and my users make posts and then the posts get published to an RSS feed. Frequently a site editor will go through and edit a post for grammar, style or whatever. My problem is that whenever they do this, drupal bumps that "edited" post to the top of the RSS feed making it seem like a new post when it really is just an old post that was edited. Is there any way to stop edited posts from being considered new posts for the RSS feed?
