Hi,

I'm running drupal 4.6.2 and my drupal site heavily relies on the book module, however it doesn't seem to display the author name or date on the book nodes as it did when I ran 4.5. Is this a bug or just a downgraded feature of the module for 4.6? Or have I done something wrong and switched that setting off somewhere?

Open to all advice.

admin/themes/settings

In the global settings, if you scroll down the page, you will see a set of checkboxes in a section called "Display post information on" -- check the boxes where you want the info displayed, and you're good to go.

Thanks for the reply. I checked and double checked that those options were activated and sure enough the box next to book is checked but still there is no display. I also checked the settings in admin>content>configure>book but there is nowhere there to change author/date/time settings so this leads me to think that either my book module itself is corrupt or the theme I'm using (negen 9-1) has something against displaying author info on the book module.

Weird because on a blog page it displays it no problem.

Any other suggestions on what the problem might be and how to remedy it?
