i m really intrested in internet surfing, now a days after browsing many sites i found that concept of RSS Feed is very popular. But even after doing so many studies in different sites i m not able to understand the concept completely. i think this is because i m not much educated about programming. so kindly help me understanding this concept and use of rss feed.

RSS feeds will help you populate the content of your site easily, any one who is interested in it can use an rss reader and it will periodically load your new content. Users are then able to create their own 'newspaper' with very filtered content and it will be delivered right in their desktop or phone or wherever.

Drupal provides many ways to populate your content in a way that users will receive only what they want. By default, it will post though the rss feed all the content from your site, but with views rss you can create 'filters' by user, forum, taxonomy and so on, users will then feed only from that specific view or filter.
