Customizing private message threads

Private message threads are fieldable.

Dependency: Field UI module

To add fields to private messages, navigate to Admin -> Structure -> Private Message Threads (/admin/structure/private-message/private-message-thread), and add fields as with any other entity.

The order of items in a private message thread can be re-ordered at Admin -> Structure -> Private Message Threads -> Manage Display [tab] (/admin/structure/private-message/private-message-thread/display). On this page, the form can positioned before or after messages, as can the members of the thread. The order of messages can also be changed on this page by changing the settings for the 'messages' field, and choosing 'descending' or 'ascending' according to your requirements.
