Issue #2042155: Looking for new co-maintainers was created over 1,5 years ago by the current module maintainer. I've responded in that issue via #2042155-9: Looking for new co-maintainers, about 2 weeks ago. The current maintainer has not responded so far.

About a week ago, I've used the contact form of the current maintainer, to send him a (friendly) reminder about my comment I added. So far I have NOT received any type of feedback. And recently I added #2042155-11: Looking for new co-maintainers, no feedback either.

With that, I believe that the procedure described in Dealing with unsupported (abandoned) projects applies, i.e. the 'Becoming owner of a project' part of it. I think steps 1, 2 and 3 in it are completed now. Which is why I'm creating this issue now.

I'm interested in taking over the ownership of this module. Please let me know if it's OK to have me do so. If so, what are the remaining steps to get it completed, if any?

Would becoming a co-maintainer suffice or do you insist to become the project owner? The former can be resolved just now, the latter would take another week or so. The issue by the project owner is a bit ambiguous but the status he has on the project page clearly states that he is searching for co-maintainers.

Yes I'm interesting in (at least) becoming a co-maintainer.

But for the sake of the health of this project, I'd like somebody like you to further "process" this request to get some type of verdict about my request to become project owner, even if that would take X more weeks (hopefuly not X months).

Please use this issue to eventually post additional updates regarding such further processing.

I've added you as co-maintainer for now and I am going to pursue the abandoned project process further with the goal to make Pierre.Vriens the project owner.
