Wembassy, Founded in 2005, is a web design and development company that specializes in open source solutions for government, higher education and association/nonprofit, and startup clients. Wembassy’s founder, Chris McIntosh, started the company as a custom Flash and CMS solutions firm that focused on eCommerce projects for local and national brands.

After getting exposure to the Drupal community of open source developers while researching new CMS solutions, Chirs McIntosh realized that Drupal would become the go-to solution for clients that needed to solve complex problems in content creation, membership management, donations and fundraising, and responsive design. With that discovery, Wembassy realigned its core services and solutions to meet the needs of clients faced with these issues and set about solving problems with Drupal.

Wembassy is focused on solving the issues that many of new startups and small businesses are plagued with when developing a new project or redeveloping an existing project.

  • Posse API - A still in development system to allow a Post-Owned-Site-Syndicate-Elsewhere approach to content marketing with drupal.
  • aBeesParadise - Mitzi a frontend developer with Wembassy, updated the Drupal theme and added responsive support for an originally mobile-only theme.
