Maya Schaeffer is a leader in reimagining in-person community engagement within the open source ecosystem. As the driving force behind EvolveDigital and EvolveDrupal, she has led over a dozen summits across North America, bringing together more than 1,700 attendees—40% from outside the traditional Drupal space—through cross-functional, industry-focused programming.
At Evolving Web, she leads Community & Employee Experience, overseeing marketing, events, and partnerships while shaping internal culture. Maya also serves on the Drupal Association Board, where she advocates for broader community engagement and more inclusive, non-technical pathways into Drupal.
