Maya Schaeffer – Drupal Community Leader & Organizer of EvolveDigital (formerly EvolveDrupal)
Maya Schaeffer is a passionate community advocate and the lead organizer of EvolveDrupal, an event series that brings together open source professionals, digital leaders, and creatives to explore the future of Drupal and web innovation. With a focus on inclusion, accessibility, and community growth, Maya has played a central role in curating meaningful, cross-disciplinary experiences that unite the Drupal ecosystem.
Since May 2022, Maya has led the coordination of ten EvolveDigital (formerly EvolveDrupal) summits in cities across North America—Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Atlanta, New York City and Boston. Each summit is designed to spotlight local talent and create space for both seasoned experts and new voices to connect, learn, and collaborate.
Maya has been with Evolving Web for over three and a half years, where she contributes to the company’s mission of advancing open source, multilingual, and accessible web solutions. As an active supporter of the Drupal project, Evolving Web has consistently sponsored and contributed to DrupalCon, local DrupalCamps, and community initiatives around the world.
