John Brooks (keepersmith)

John is an accomplished technology leader who has been building successful teams and software for over 25 years. As an entrepreneur in the internet marketing industry, John founded and ran a custom software development company, an email service provider, and a consumer coupon website.

He was also the founding engineer and CTO of PechaKucha.com, where he led a team of software engineers to develop a function-rich website where over 500k users could create video presentations, events and communities.

John is a lifelong learner who is always interested in mastering new technologies, and discovering ways to apply fresh knowledge to tackle complex problems. When it is time to put screens away, John is busy raising three children, playing sports, and volunteering to help disabled children with the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
