In my current role as Software Tester, I am involved with the testing and QA process at every stage of the web development process, starting with developing acceptance criteria through to testing the system before passing work to the client.

I also carry out some Scrum Master roles, organising sprints and helping the team to ensure work is carried out on time to a high standard.

For my last project (Great Ormond Street Hospital), I also wrote >100 page training manuals and delivered three days of training sessions for CMS users on both Drupal and the system we had built for them, and also training those users to train the users below them.

I am a regular volunteer with Manchester Girl Geeks, both organising events and volunteering at others. I've given two lightning talks at Manchester Tech Nights this year, one on QA in Scrum (http://www.gemhill.co.uk/2015/02/scrum-jim-not-know-role-qatesting-scrum/) and the other on Podcasting (http://www.gemhill.co.uk/2015/04/everything-ive-learned-podcasting-recor...).
