Fixes: Allow chaining without being able to reference self

8.x-3.0-alpha3 release features a breaking change for users using the "database" authentication method. Authentication is now only available via an .edgerc file, or via the key module if installed.

Development release.

This update changes the output of the xpath plugin so that it always returns an array, even if only one result is found. This is more consistent, and plays with multi-value fields in a more friendly fashion.
