Advantages:
https://www.drupal.org/node/2870470 - now settings of the module Disable field can be exported through configurations.
https://www.drupal.org/node/2908851 - new option - disable field for all roles.
Disadvantages:
All settings of the module Disable field will be reset. You should configure them again from scratch.
