New features

This release is for Drupal 5.x
It is fairly stable, I use it on one of my sites. Please test it and report back if you find any bugs or problems.

UPDATE as of 2007.11.08:
Major update on how protection works. Protected_node now utilises the Node Protection System.

Protected_node now stores passwords as sha1 hashes with optional salt. Salt could be configured in settings.php by definig $protected_node_salt variable with a random value. More entropy means better security. Usage is recommended.

New release for changed features and additional bugfixes. May cause problems, but also may fix some. I hope for this to be generally usable and appreciate testers and people who can provide feedback in the issue queue.

The 1.x branch of Pathauto is the feature complete upgrade of the 4.7 to Drupal5.x

The major point of this 2.x branch of Pathauto is to get rid of old cruft and start implementing the token.module to provide the patterns.

Removed completed timers from the timing loop and added complete string to the admin settings.

This release fixes a security vulnerability, all users of project_issue 5.x-0.1-beta or any 5.x-0.x-dev snapshot from before 2007-03-08 are urged to upgrade. For more details, see DRUPAL-SA-2007-012.

NOTE: The upgrade path from 4.7.x-1.* version of the Project issue tracking module is still very confusing, undocumented, and error prone. Sites that use the project module are strongly recommended to not upgrade to Drupal core 5.x until the official 5.x-1.0 release of this module is available.
