This release marks a lot of new features:

This is the beginnings of the port to Drupal 6. Currently there is a lot of functionality missing from the Drupal 5 version, but it getting put back together. I do not recommend this for production use unless you are very comfortable with getting your hands dirty with PHP.

This is a ground-up rewrite of subscriptions.
This is a BETA release:

• Back up your database before installing!
• Do not install on a production site!
• Some features may be missing or incomplete or buggy...

The official release version is still subscriptions 5.x-1.9. However, it's known to be buggy and it's unmaintained. We are working hard on getting 2.0 out and you can help it by trying it out and reporting bugs.
