Combined release note, since there were two beta releases today:

Beta 2 changes:

Added friendlier names for node types by looking up the names from
the {node_type} table.

Implemented manual setting for site creation date, as requested in
issue #197274.

Beta 3 changes:

Second commit (beta3) attempts to resolve the access bug reported
in issue #347037.

fixes #347017: Update .info to be compatible with drupal core wrong file committed

Initial release. Untested. not recommended for production sites.

Addressed the following:
#311871: kudos display, show assigned kudo in grey - Fixed status update via cron
#328878: title tag instead/in addition to alt tag - Addition of Title attribute to the images

The 2.x branch mostly works. It's still not production ready, though. :-)
