I am facing the problem with theme.I wrote one function i.e

Iam new to the page ,for example there are 1000 pages each page has 20 records ,if two records completed in one page it automatically goes to next page .If iam working in 10th page ,after this iam goto 1000 th page so iam click the 'last page ' link it takes abou 20 minutes to goto lastpage.
My problem is to decrease that time by using drupal.
Please help me.
