A while back I promised to give suggestions for improving the book module. Things like work and life got in the way of writing it all up, but the first installment is now up on my blog. I had to post it there instead of here on drupal.org because it relies so heavily on screen shots. This one covers only the administration of books. More to come as soon as possible. I hope some of it is useful.
Hey all! I was wondering how difficult it would be to allow the forums to support multiple vocabularies! My experience has been that the General vocabulary I've created works for the most part, but there are stil some "chatty" things I would like isolated into a Forum-specific vocabulary. Is this doable? I am fairly proficient with Java/C#, but I have little experience with PHP, so I haven't delved to deeply into the possibilities. Any suggestions? Or perhaps this could be a feature request? (If so, where does one request features?)
I have a postnuke .723 site that I'd like to convert to drupal 4.3
I tried using the pn2drupal script, but I dont believe it is compatible with the 4.3 release of drupal. I'm getting errors with the drupal.users tables (homepage no longer there, etc..)
Could some kind soul out there upgrade this conversion script? I have over 400 posts that I'd rather not lose! Thanks!
I think this is probably the right place for this unabashed fan-mail :) I've been looking for a usable, flexible and powerful CMS for a while and Drupal seems to be the one. It took only a few minutes to install, then I spent an hour or two tinkering with the admin settings. Then I started to hack the .css and .php files which control the look of the site, and I was very impressed with the ease of making global changes using these mechanisms.
I have been told now a number of times by my danish peers, that if I want them to comment on my sites, they would greatly appreciate a comment system which works like the one in Moveable Type.
