Drupal Project
I am looking for someone to assist me with customizing a Drupal website. This will be a paid membership site with businesses being the members. I want to do the customization in segments. I’m operating on a limited budget, so I would like whoever agrees to work on this project with me to break down the things I want done into segments or groups of tasks and price your services for each segment. That way we can work on a pay as we go system.
There will be 7 types of users, unlimited categories and up to 5 subcategories for each category. The names of the categories will be the names of the businesses that are members, as well as the city and state they are located in. The user database table will probably need to be adjusted to accommodate this. An example of a category name would be; Castillo’s Tire and Auto of Lake Park Georgia. Each member company will be able to set up additional users, as needed, with specific permissions assigned to those users.
The same five names would be used for each of the five subcategories, but all articles posted to these subcategories would only be associated with the parent category. All articles posted will be in one of the subcategories. No articles could be posted in the categories themselves.
I want users to be able to use their email address or username when logging on to the site.
I have a fishing web site done in basic, static HTML. (http://www.fishingtheusa.com). I am trying to set it up in Drupal 7. I have it hosted at GoDaddy and I'm using PreviewDNS (http://fishingtheusa.com.previewdns.com/) right now to get it going. I've been working with computers most of my life now, and I have been doing it for a living for the passed 20 years. My big problem right now is time.
I have been wanting to redo the site for a very long time, and have been researching CMS's for a while. I heard that Drupal had a steep learning curve, but Joomla was not "big" enough to do everything I really want to do with the site. I'm pretty excited about the possibilities.
I'd like to set the site the way it is now, in Drupal. I would like for someone to walk me through the basics of site structure, and just get the basics going. I am really interested in preserving most of my links. That's the main thing the site has going for it right now, is thousands of links pointing to the site. I want to get everything moved over to Drupal, and then make the DNS switch to the new site. I have most of the modules needed already installed (Views, OG's, Path Auto, Panels, etc.)
I would like to pay US$250 to design and build a textbook Drupal site.
I removed a link to the design image that was originally stored in google docs to ensure that the post does not appear to contain a virus, but can provide it directly to anyone interested in the specifics of the design.
Looking for someone to create a module so users can pay with a custom points (or maybe existing userpoints) in Drupal Commerce.
I have a field_credit_points in which points that are added by a manager manually. The user can use those points to order a product. One point will allow them to order one product. As soon as the user places a product in the cart, the points need to be deducted from there account. So, if they only have two points, and they add a third item, a notification displays that they have used up there credit points.
