Hi, I'am looking for someone who knows their way around Drupal to assist with the development of a music social networking site. Please take a look at www.match4music.com to get an idea of the kind of site i would like to build. (please note the .com version was created in joomla). I have decided to redevelop the site in Drupal. please check www.match4music.net
I run a fairly popular forum on Drupal 6 + advanced_forum module. I currently have a little over 20,000 nodes and closing in on 500,000 comments. I'm not using the nodecomment module and I'd prefer to avoid it.
I am looking for an individual to take on the project of updating a Drupal based site from version 5 to 7 as well as updating all relevant modules (there are many) or finding suitable replacements plus recommending a new US hosting provider and moving the site to said provider. I am an amateur that built this site about 4-5 years ago but it is now plagued with minor bugs and one or two major bugs including the poor performance of the hosting company. I do not have time these days to complete this task myself as it would likely take me 200 hours to teach myself and carry it out, whereas I'm sure one of you pros can get it done much faster.
Currente site statistics: Drupal Version 5.19
Approx 35,000 Nodes
Approx 15,000 Users (not all active)
Approx 120,000 Comments
Approx 50 Modules in Use
The site belongs to a non-profit organization that hosts a large online community which is mostly forum based. A reliable chat room is also needed for the community.
You will need to complete a test run using backups of:
Upgrading Drupal version from 5 to 7
Upgrading or replacing all modules and working out nuances so they integrate relatively seamlessly
Likely the theme will need to be replaced and possibly tweaked.
Hello, Im working on a website where users can Publish Their own Products for Free, however I want to be able to Charge users if they select the option to be "featured" on the Home page, or if they select one of the different featured tags available.
My organization (CLCV, www.ecovote.org) has a Drupal 6 site that was developed in 2009-10. It has custom modules and content types and a fairly complex layout. I have mostly been able to keep the modules and core up to date.
