Drupal 4.7.6 or Preferably 5.1 with following modules installed and properly configured and working. No much work on design needed Just install or configure Drupal and modules listed with minor tweaks. I can do it too but I don’t have time and expert quality so I will pay you for your time and expertise. My budget for this is 25 - 75 but you can suggest. For extra work I will pay extra. Development of anything is not required but if needed will hire separate developer or if you can do it that is fine too.
I got it to work on my local home server fine (no multi site or multi language) but I have a DreamHost account that I prefer but if I needed have VPS account also for live site. I want to run a community news media and portal type site based on drupal on my christianchronicle.com domain
I'd be interested in hearing from someone with training experience to conduct about 4 days of intro to Drupal in a new 3-year community-based project which could lead to ongoing opportunities in the community sector in Victoria. This will be for about 8 people, all of whom have some general experience in web development, but not CMS. It is critical that you can explain Drupal in non-technical but intelligent language and work in a group setting.

I have been trying to put a Drual site together for some time and after much delay I finally got a site that technically met my standards to go live, however I'm finding that the theme is causing problems for at least the last 2 developers I've used.
A quick rundown of the site, I've had 1 developer that put the initial site together which I was quite happy with, but this theme ended up not to work well in a number of browsers and screen resolutions. I contracted a 2nd developer to add in some functionality as well as fix up the theme. The theme now displays in most browsers reasonably well and is probably good enough to go live with but I'm finding myself wanting it to look great, rather than adequate. I'm now finding this 2nd theme also has issues under different browsers/screen resolutions, specifically when modifying content.
I have 3 versions (original mock-up, original site, current site) of the appearance for the site and each adds as well as loses some aspects of the appearance that I wanted. I think someone with the ability to take all the good aspects of each site, while taking some creative leeway and put it into 1 final theme is what I need.
