Image X Media is looking for a talented Drupal Developer with considerable experience working with CSS and PHP. The position requires exceptional programming skills, problem solving abilities, a strong work ethic and an eye for design. Reporting to the Project Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for taking a web project from the development phase to the final product and in some cases for creating or customizing Drupal modules to integrate with other applications.

Responsibilities:
Working with a team (creative director, project manager, and other developers) to create compelling and cutting edge web sites and web applications.
Responsible for turning design and user interface mockups into functional web sites.
Custom programming and web application development.
Testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of existing client sites.

Requirements:
Independence, willingness to learn and problem solving skills are a must.
At least two years of related work experience/education.
Able to complete on time and on budget.
Ability to communicate and work well with others.

Technical Skills:
Proficient with handcoding HTML and tableless CSS.
Advanced knowledge and implementation of W3C Web Standards.
Dynamic/Database Driven Development (PHP/MySQL).
JavaScript, Flash, Action Script & AJAX is an asset.
Experience with Drupal API and themes is an asset.

Here at the World Bank we are increasingly relying on drupal and we are looking for a full time (contractor) developer to join our team. We are the ones who commissioned, tweaked and released the BuzzMonitor to help organizations better engage in social media (so far downloaded over 3,000 times) and have a number of projects in the pipeline that involve both "traditional" use of drupal but also some module development. From using drupal as our corporate blogging platform to doing some interesting in API / data visualization work and adding features to the BuzzMonitor, I'd say it's a fun job.

I am new to drupal but see ultimate potential... what i need i some guidance to which way to structure my site... i'll say what i'm looking for and hopefully someone can respond-

Scenario -

1 website per country
paid members sign up to local community for which they log into the countries site and then gain access to their local community(Not others) (CiviCRM style, bells and whistles)
Project managers from within organisation are able to access a global intranet for resources and research local community/country sites

I am starting a web development company for Drupal and have limited theme building experience. I would like to hire someone to program the themes for me. I currently have three lined up and anticipate as many as four or five per month.

I can provide the artwork in Adobe PS2 or Adobe PS3 with all the elements as layers.
