Module development and code questions

To tell you the truth, I've got a phpBB forum already running. Has there been any efforts in trying to combine the two systems?

I needed an alphabetical browser of all published nodes, and couldn't figure out how to do it using existing Drupal tools, so created one in Dreamweaver and made a static page out of it. Maybe someone can make a module out of it? It needs at least four big improvements that I can think of -

On the node page, my nodes of type quiz are empty; there is no nid, teaser, and the date is wrong (12/31/1967).

I have exhausted myself looking at the code of this module and SQL database to see if there is something wrong in the _view hook or table contents.

Polder theme and style module have been updated for Drupal 4.3. Style module now also links style sets to user IDs, and has configuration options for authorized users to change the look and feel of their blog pages. (New user style sets are generated when needed, you do not have to add them yourself.)

I just finished a module that lets users subscribe to nodes, and be emailed when they are updated. I've found this feature indispensible on other people's boards, and felt my Druupal site would be sorely lacking without it.

It hasn't been vetted by the developer community, and it probably won't work well on very large sites, but you can download it, if you're interested, at the module cvs site.

i wanna show random pics on my right column of site. i think i have to make a module but cant do that. So can someone help me. i put my all pics in my images directory. i want my module can chose ramdom pics from there and show on my site like a block... Thnx

Ps. (dont talk about image.module pls)
