I would like the print-freindly link to show up on the front page at the bottom of regular blog entries. Right now, it only appears if the user clicks on the node title itself.
just did the upgrade to 4.7 which required an upgrade of gallery2 to keep in synch as per the gallery module. This all worked great! Much gratitude to those who worked hard for this!
The most attractive feature of this upgrade was the possibility of using the g2image to make it easy for my users to add images while posting directly from the embedded gallery. I installed it as a tinyMCE plug in and then deciphered around 10 pages of loosely connected installation instructions and finally got the little 'G2' icon to show up in tinyMCE. I click on it and the g2image plug-in triumphantly pops up. All seems to work well. I navigate to a photo. set it to show up as a thumbnail and when i click on it the g2image window dissapears and the thumb appropriately appears in my tinyMCE editing window. At this point I'm giving much love to the developers as it is miraculously smooth. and then ..... when i save the node the image dissapears. I reopen it for editing and its still gone. BOO HOO. ok. now i try to insert it as a text link to the image location in gallery and save the node. again it vanishes. refreshed it and kept going. and my input format has been set to -Full HTML all the time - even added an image the old laborious way just to make sure and it worked fine.
So sadly this otherwise awesome new g2image feature just don't work for me. Any kind soul wanna get involved with this one and make our community happy?
I installed Category and created a few containers and categories. I noticed a couple wierd things:
1. My forums disappeared. (Containers and Categories, but not the individual nodes/posts)
2. I couldn't see anywhere on the create content page for me to assign categories. After I uninstalled category, I have this "Categories" section back.
I have a couple questions about installing the theme editor module.
Where do I extract the theme_editor_engine.engine and xtemplate.engine.patch files?
For now I have them in the module folder.
Also when I click on the theme editor I get this error:
* warning: mkdir() [function.mkdir]: Permission denied in c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\includes\file.inc on line 91.
* The theme storage directory does not exist or is not writable. You may set this in the theme editor's configuration page.
If I go to the configuration page I get this error:
