Module development and code questions

is there a rating module out there where users can vote for images in a gallery and you see also the digits as result? only found 5star modules.

example:
-this cool picture has 4,7 points from 1200 votes (optional **** 4 stars)

I was wondering if anyone has worked out a way to get drupal to autopopulate the URL Settings field when a new node is created?

For example, if the node type is an 'article' and I have it a title of 'My new article', I would like the URL to automatically be 'article/my-new-article'.

Conceptually I can think of a few different ways to do it, but I was wondering if someone else already has?

Hi I am having a problem adding a menu item to my employermenu that I got Drupal to create. I can get Drupal to create a menu item and place them in my employer menu, but I wish to add menu items programmatically. I am unsure what path to use in my implementation hook menu.

Currently I am using the path employer menu but this seems to just bring the menu item up in the navigation menu

AFAIK, youtube hasn't come up with the API to upload video from another site, but there seems to be a way to do it as mentioned here:

Anyone has any idea if it is possible to create a drupal module for this?
I figured it'll be great if we can upload videos to youtube directly and automatically use the link for display (emfield cck) ;)

i have enabled captcha (rc3), it works fine for all the content submission, but when i see preview of any of the content i need to fill captcha question again, which is annoying, and again before submission. Any suggestions?

I have enabled gmap module in my project, though i have only few pages where i am using gmaps, but every page of my site, connects to google.com slows down the page load, any suggestions?
