I'm using Bartik theme on Drupal 7. And I'm reserving the "Featured" region for something specific to the site, but I noticed that all Drupal messages (error or status) are displayed in this region, which messes the site layout. Is it possible to keep the messages but move them to "content" region instead, right under "featured". Any help is much appreciated. Thank you all in advance.
Hi, I am a Drupal newbie. I've just started to explore the Drupal Engine, and now I'm creating my own theme.
But I cannot do this, because every single change requires clearing the cache.
I have to go to the admin panel and click "Clear cache", and btw it takes quite a lot of time to complete.
So basically it is impossible to develop.
I have read a lot of tutorials and articles about disabling, but this still doesn't help.
as mentioned above, i can't login into the drupal backend. When I type www.mydomain.net/user i can see at the page title "user account", but I can not see the frontend for the login page instead I can still see me Homepage screen.
I think I am using Drupal 7. Using News Center theme at la1news.com. Anyway, I have unique IP addresses viewing articles I publish numerous times per minute. I think it is the writer and his or her friends refreshing the article over and over again to increase the number of views and make their way to the Most Viewed Stories Top Seven. How can I limit the number of views to once per IP address? I think there is a way but I forgot. I already know how to block IP addresses but that is time consuming.
Can you give me an idea which file controls the size of the footer please? Is it a file within the theme? Or a file that controls the placing of all of the contents on the page? Or is it within the block module files?
