Im in progress of converting a Joomla site to Drupal. Heard it should be more stable than Joomla.
Now i have a minor challenge. Im my joomla site, for every userprofile i have a private menu called PDF. In which an administrator can upload PDF documents to. The documents is only visible to a single user, which has permission to read the mentioned document.
Hello good folks. I build and maintain the website for my company and have been running Drupal 6 for quite some time. I have finished the ground work for our new site on Drupal 7. I may have built it in the wrong place, but I want to point my domain to the D7 installation.
I just installed Drupal today. I have used Wordpress and Joomla in the past, but I have heard good things about Drupal. What I am having problems with is setting up my site. Simple things I haven't been able to find, like how do I link a page to the front page. How do I upload a theme. It keeps asking for for an ftp server, which I don't have running rignt now.
I guess I just am looking for an introduction document that discusses building a basic simple static web page to start.
I have 5 years worth of articles from my Pivot website stored on my hard drive.
Is there an easy way to import them in my Drupal 7x website? I am now doing it all by hand but that is a huge time sinker. :)
I have become part of my old website made in Zikula to DRUPAL.
I migrated almost everything except the contents of the forum.
He had in Dizkus, hence we migrated to PhpBB, and found the existence of the module that imports the content of PHPBB to Drupal.
The problem I encounter is that, I understand that the category has migrated as containers, but the rest did not, and do not know how to change a forum container, to be a forum so it can be displayed on the website.
I'm looking to migrate a site that has a property listing. The data for the property listing is done via an FTP import of one or more XML files that updates once every hour or so.
I'm quite taken with Drupal and would like to use it to manage the site, however I don't know if there's any module or such that is capable of doing hourly grabs of property data over FTP.
Is this possible in Drupal or would I have to code something outside of drupal and use a cron job to import the data?
