I'm trying to convert a site to Drupal, using the bare bones Bartik Theme (Drupal 7)
a few questions:
I have a book I'm using, I don't seem to be able to put a background image into the css (in style.css)
I put in background-image:url ('name of pic.png'); (in the Footer section or Block), but it doesn't take
it said to put the image in the themes/Bartik directory, which I did. ????????
Also, is there any way to get a single image to enlarge on mouseover?

I use node_save() and I want to know how to make my php-code insert metatags on each post?
I use module Metatag, Drupal 7. PHP-code of my import file (only create a new entry without metatags)
I created a new site with drupal and I would like to import the content and the users registered (only from the newsletter module) from my old site. Is there any easy way to do it or I have to do with sql commands? Thanks.
I recently switched a site from a Movable Type installation to using Drupal, and am getting an Apache error on the site's /blog directory. The directory still exists on the server as it hosts a bunch of images, but I still want the blog to use the same URL. So I deleted the index.html file generated by Movable Type, and set up a basic page node that displays the blog home page at /blog. The Drupal page displays OK at the /blog path, but I see this error in Apache:
I need some help as getting into using Drupal. I have created a new content type called portfolio. I made a content field called Portfolio Gallery. I choose unlimited image entries.
I created a view for the portfolio and the override fields template files. In the View I clicked on the fields for the image gallery and deselected Multiple field settings, Display all values in the same row. As I am not sure if it should be enabled or not as well as these settings Unordered list, Ordered list, Simple separator.
