Noob question about taxonomy

Hi.

I have created a vocabulary and some categories using taxonomy. Everithing is ok, but i seem that i can't make a page to show in the 'main category' index.

Something like this:

My vocabulary and categories are as follow:

Vocabulary -- Category ---- Subcategory
-------------- ---------------- --------------
Main stuff -> Photography -> Funny

I want to list my taxonomy like the taxonomy_dhtml module, but using taxonomy_images instead of bullets?

Using CCK, I have a custom content type attributed to a certain taxonomy. But getting anything more than a basic list or node view seems difficult. Ideas anyone?

'File system path' is kind of lame (for multi-site installations)

In a multi-site install, if I want separate 'files' directories, I have to put up with paths like this for my links:

http://example.com/sites/example.com/files/filename.ext

instead of the much preferred

http://example.com/files/filename.ext

This results in unnecessarily long, redundant and odd looking paths. It also forces us to have to manually enter a file system path for each different site, which hampers site portability, setup automation, and synchronization.

Podcast Portal

Is it possible to turn Drupal into a Podcast Alley type site? If so, can anyone make any suggestions on how to get started?
