I understand that the posts in forums are actually simply comments, the same as a comment on any other node. Got it. Great. That's a nice trick in the code, and creating an entirely different look is easy via CSS.
Great. Good. Fine.
I also understand how to set the order (most recent first or last) on comments and how to designate whether they're threaded or not.
Has anyone else noticed that when you click on a category in a Drupal forum and view the resulting list, that while the TOPIC column will resize according to width, neither the CREATED column nor the LAST REPLY column will?
It seems like the display is refusing to wrap the text on the author names. At small widths, this creates VERY strange-looking rows, as long titled forum topics wrap around and around, while the two-line Created and Reply rows stay the same.
I’m looking into making a theme and I was browsing around and saw this site http://sojournhuntsville.org/ . That is pretty much the layout I’m going for. Is there a theme that is already made that looks like that. I know that that site is a drupal site but I kinda want to do it my self.
Can someone point me in the direction to how to make a theme.
