Theme development

Hello everyone,

I've just developed a new theme for my friend's website. Everything works fine in Mozilla Firefox 2 and MSIE 7.0.
But when I tested it on Browsershots (http://browsershots.org), the layout is screwed in IE 6 and IE 5.
Can somebody please tell me how to fix these problems?
Btw, my top banner has a transparent background (PNG file).

These free templates is extremely great looking. I do not have php skill but with little html and css, able to copy and paste but still new to Drupal templating system. Do you think it is easy to port these templates to Drupal theme? How long will it take for an experience designer to do it? We need to create how many .tpl.php files? I am glad if somebody can do it and post to Drupal Themes directory. Sorry, I do not have this skill right now. Once I learned more about Drupal, I will try to contribute some.

i want to change the default view of product list. When i open the product section i saw three columns and the numbers of rows needed to see all the products thumbnails.

How can i change the layout to see two columns? my them design is slim and the product in the third column go outside the content area.

i try creating in style.css the style:

 .product-table {
  display:block;
  width:450px;
  color: #333333;
  padding: 5px 8px 5px;
  margin: 0;
}

but the thumbnail dont care about the width

I have installed Drupal long back in my website. I also had to install flexinode module to add few fields.

Actually I have created three forms:

node.flexinode-1.tpl.php

node.flexinode-2.tpl.php

node.flexinode-3.tpl.php

But I have a very strange situation now. I really have to remove Few date fields from these forms.

Particularly I need to remove this field from all the 3 forms

$lastmod_t = date("m/d/Y", $node->flexinode_59);

I hope someone can help. I think I might be being daft but I have been un able to chnage the thmese.
basically followed a demonstration. FTP a new theme, logged in as admin and the new thmese was not there to choose from.

Am I being daft or is there something else I need to change

as well as below for the "Add New Comment" section.

Just offhand, does anyone know where I could adjust the size of this in the css?

Also, I'd like to add a block above content, or perhaps even two, side by side. I've themed my share of MDpro themes, but Drupal themes are completely new to me.
