The National Anticorruption Center (NAC), the authority that reports to Moldovan Parliament, is specializing in the prevention and fight against corruption, corruption-related acts and corruptible deeds. It also performs the tasks of the Secretariat of the Monitoring Group for National Anti-Corruption Strategy implementation.

The project “Educate. Engage. Empower. Community Tools Against Corruption” is being implemented by the e-Governance Academy Foundation (Estonia) and Center for Policies and Reforms (Moldova) with the support of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs from the funds of development cooperation and humanitarian aid and the Open Society Foundations. The general aim of the project is to make the society in Moldova aware of corruption at all levels and more active in confronting it by educating, engaging and empowering the population to act against corruption through the use of ICT tools.

The Superior Council of Prosecutors of the Republic of Moldova is an independent government institution that works within the judicial power, responsible for prosecuting criminal cases investigated by the police and other investigating bodies throughout Moldova.
