Smoke Free Truckee Meadows is a group of organizations and individuals committed to ensuring smoke-free air in all indoor workplaces. The goal is to advocate for a change in smoking policy to protect the rights of employees in bars/casinos. Smoking is currently prohibited at workplaces in Nevada by law under the Nevada Clean Indoor Air Act, yet bars and casinos are the exception. In the Truckee Meadows alone, that means 40,000 casino and bar employees are exposed to deadly secondhand smoke and vapor at work, while employees in every other workplace are protected.

The evolution of open-source projects can sometimes lead to discontinuation, otherwise known as "contrib death." However, this does not mean the end, especially when there is a clear demand for certain features.
