We built www.signalhealth.com more as a business than technical experiment. Use of RSS for continuing to feed news and commentary was particularly important for keeping the site fresh late summer and autumn when we suffered a serious business interruption.
I've been quite pleased with the results and have begun thinking hard about the next stage.
Any suggestions for improving the site, especially taking advantage of functions that we haven't used would be appreciated.
Hello Everyone and Anyone to throw some feed back at me, I have just launched my new Drupal website almost three weeks old now. It is overall a success
and I have businesses bloging on it already. I pretty much charge for my time to maintain the site and all the user accounts at a low fee. I make the majority of my money with my photography and for the most part I am self employed doing all sorts of photography. Now that I have gone digital. Web-design is becoming more of a add on of what I do. As my interest is strong in what drupal is doing with the open source. I will always want to help folks with everything I have learned so far. But I have had help from carring individuals like Austin @ http://ajsloan.com. He has been a big help with my site.
I am always looking to take the website thing a step further at my site http://therockymtnblog.com and I have just started building my companies new photography site mybanffphotographer.com. I plan to build 4 more sites in the next month as well. I am only learning more as I go at this. If anyone wants any photography tips I am always willing to trade advice for advice so let me here from you! As The Rocky Mountain Blog is my most successful website to date for quick constant traffic. I am now working to improve it to handle many more viewers and satisfy as many as possible. I really want to see those viewers climb in numbers (don't we all) and I am only beginning to link to search engines. It will take a few months at the rate I am going to get traffic where I need it to be to be a success as one of the first blog sites in this region. Thanks for any feed back and suggestions on what could make my site more enticing for free bloggers!
