While I have been using Drupal on several sites for a long time (2001), it was not until I was asked to do the ANN Web Design site that I have been able to make Drupal really shine. Unfortunately, many of the special features, such as admin todo lists, domain registration and hosting renewal events and other great customer support features are for clients only and not for public access. I am rapt... Now itching to upgrade to 4.7 on this and all my other Drupal sites. Thank you Drupal...
My site is all about computer how-to guide, I use Flash, Picture, and PDF tutorials for easy access to site visitors. I am very excited about Drupal's capabilities and will continue to use it for my site. Any comments/suggestions greatly appreciated. www.gilsmethod.com
I first learned about Drupal in November of last year and was thrown into a project head first, but told not to bill any hours for my learning time. It so happened I was writing a Windows application to maintain a non-profit web site for another client. When I saw Drupal, I immediately threw away all the code I had been writing because there was SOOO much more functionality in Drupal than what I had time to build myself. I converted the site over from static FrontPage-created files to Drupal with many more features in less time than it would've taken me to finish my Windows application.
