Test setup for an oddball site.

I got a spare 5-10 minutes so I figured I'd drop by and try to get some feedback from everyone on a test rig I setup using Drupla 5.0 rc1.

The address is Doomed Test.
I'm thinking of using front page to make the front page look something like this.

It was made from Bluebreeze and has gallery2 embedded.

I'm waiting to put the production site up until 5.0 final comes out which is hopefully soon.

I built the site as a home for my projects(webcomics, photos, etc) animation style videos(which I'm sad sad sad to say Video modules does not support AVI??, and my personal blog and an articles area.

I may implement comments in certain areas but had MASSIVE spam on another site I made that caused problems. I tried to take the nav menu away and don't know how to get rid of the "create content" for anon users.. I've moved the menu into admin and now the only two ways to log in is now how to do it and in forums. Which is another issue because I'm thinking of just using SMF or phpBB for the forum section..

Anyone know how to create a repository for all the articles on one taxonomy and keep it nice and neat? I know taxonomy_dhtml but any other options? Also, does anyone know how to create dropdown menus with the primary links?

Otherwise if you want to take a peek at a very in progress site and let me know what you think that'd be great. Still a lot of fine tuning and few graphics to throw in but thats the overall idea of the place.

wow drupal 5.0

TheCycleTest.com

After quite a long time of lurking around Drupal-land, I've finally been able to launch my first site:

TheCycleTest.com

It's basically a brochure site for a linguistics assessment test. Thanks to the community for the the great software.

I'm hoping to launch another site soon as well.

Comments and suggestions are welcome.
