Hey folks, I'd appreciate some feedback on the latest (and greatest?) version of my website. I first went online in 1994, migrated to mixed html/perl in the late 90's, went to Xoops a few years ago, and decided to put up a (hopefully) final version last month using Drupal. It's a horror/vampire fan site for those interesting in the quirky world of the undead. :)
Hi,
Want to present http://www.gocricket.de
A sports ( Cricket ) multi language Site in English and German with Team Profile, Flash Online Games, Flash Quiz etc for the University of Goettingen (Germany) made with Drupal.
The front page is using the Frontpage module Which helps to make own design (http://www.designsweb.de) in Photoshop and using snippets like Displaying Registered users , upcoming Events etc...
Adds a "forward this page" link to each node. This module allows users to forward a link to a specific node on your site to a friend : http://drupal.org/project/forward
I just recently completed a rebuild of a community blog from Wordpress over to Drupal to provide a more seamless and easier-to-use interface for the bloggers. I wanted to make it as easy as possible for users to post images in their posts while preserving seamless layout, so visitors who don't know any code can still make their posts look good. I found a solution that worked really well with CCK imagefield, imagecache and contemplate.
This is a very basic site, but I thought it turned out quite well. I designed and built it with Drupal 5.x and a few standard mods. I then added a modicum of content for the site owner to get a grasp on how things should look.
It's currently undergoing some growing pains as the owner gets used to maintaining the site through Drupal.
I wouldn't mind some feedback though as there are a few things that I'm still working on and haven't had a chance to tackle yet.
Hey everyone! Just wanted to get some feedback on my layout for my new site's layout. It hasn't been themed for drupal yet, that's still in the works but you can see what it will look like here:
Drupal really saved me MONTHS of work.
Before Drupal I've tried many others like OpenCMS, Joomla, DotNetNuke, etc., but I've always found problems:
- performance: Drupal is by far the most performant for this kind of community site; OpenCMS is a beast, but you need an appropriate-sized server to scale!
- ease of use: I've found some articles saying that Drupal is not easy, but I totally disagree; especially modules installation & configuration is very easy;
- plenty of themes and many modules for all your needs;
