Britney Spears Circus site made with Drupal

Hi All,

I have just made this week a new website for Britney Spears on upcoming album Circus.

The site will serve to promote Britney and the new album and tell the truth about the gossip. The site will also entertain and delight.

Please check it out and register a free account which will enable you to contribute to the sites contents, help out and provide feedback.

OnSugar

Can't wait for the Sugar team to writeup their Drupal adventures in implementing http://onsugar.com. Looks like http://onsugar.com will be to http://drupal.org what http://wordpress.com is to http://wordpress.org!

Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art

I recently finished phase one of the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art website. When I started this project there was very few of the modules I wanted to use that were not in beta stages for 6.x. So I went with 5.x. This is by no means my first drupal site, but I am very proud of this one. I spent a bunch of extra time making it extra easy to add and update content. Of course drupal is great at this already, but I found out that much planning goes into making the process painless for users that are new to all of this. The staff at the Nerman was quick to learn content management tasks and things are running smoothly so far. Already making a list of improvements for phase two. Some features that are ready have not been rolled out yet, so be sure to check back. The last 14(or so) years of JCCC artwork will be added to the site in the near future.

Some of the modules I used are:
CCK
Views
View Bonus
Thickbox 2
FrontPage
Administration Menu
ImageField
Date
Date Popup
Imagecache
Pathauto
Webform

Donkeys go Drupal :-)

http://drupal.thedonkeysanctuary.org.uk/

I joined the Donkey Sanctuary in Devon in October 2007 and shortly after that I heard about Drupal and haven't looked back. It's a brilliant CMS. The open-source community are a great support. Whenever I've been stuck with how to do something, whether it be something simple that the old brain cells forget, within minutes someone's popped a reply to a posting and I'm off on my way again.

I had the basic structure of the Drupal website in place within months replacing parts of it as I learnt things along the way, such as views. A whole new world once I understood them :-)

Only problem I have is adding images into the blocks. Probably a theme issue rather than anything else. I'm using the Amadou theme and the image behaves unless the browser happens to be Microsoft IE then it floats off somewhere !!!

Most of the time when you have an idea, just look in the list of modules and there's always something that fits that idea.

The Sanctuary prides itself on ensuring donations received go directly where needed - helping the donkeys in the UK and with our projects overseas. Administration costs are somewhere around 8.2p in the £.

By using Drupal, we haven't had to spend any money on commercial packages to build a wonderful our website keeping admin costs down.

It's been fun learning too :-)

The Ideagora - Marketplace of Ideas www.theideagora.com

Hello,

This website is a little side project I've been working on over the past six months or so, on and off. The site is a network for all types of intellectual discussion and collaboration. Drupal is just the best that's out there, and it's been great getting to know more about how it works along the way.
