Post installation

All,

So I have installed w.Bloggar as the Drupal Handbook mentions. Unfortunately, I have two problems:

1. Posts made by w.Bloggar seem to be an entry other than "Story," which is what I want. I don't see any way to make w.Blogger post to this node type.

2. The Category pull-down menu n w.Blogger is empty, and don't have any Terms or any Vocabulary entries.

Any thoughts or suggestions for another program?

This is not the same problem that every newbie asks about, I promise.

I have checked and unchecked and rechecked the access content permission for anonymous users several times, checked the database to make sure it's taking effect, etc., and still I always get "Page not found" for anonymous users.

I originally installed 4.4.0-rc and have recently upgraded to 4.4.1, but no change. The only files I've messed with are user.module (just added another block) and some stuff in xtemplate. The site is at maa.openflows.org

any ideas what might be wrong?

I installed the bbcode module and when I use the CODE tag it doesn't create a new line for each line of code. You can see an example at http://www.embeddedthought.com/?q=node/view/22

Anyone know an easy way to fix this?

I have been setting up a site with Drupal (4.4.0). Drupal has surpassed my expectations in some respects, but there are still a couple of core aspects of the site [I am working on] where there has not been an obvious solution within the Drupal system.

Anybody's tips and suggestions on implementing these features on a website would be appreciated.

1. A link on every page (node) to "Email to a Friend" (preferably implemented on the server side)

I've gotten most things working so far (and working great I might add). I'm having trouble getting code that I type to be displayed properly without too much trouble. I'm mainly posting java and XML files so the [?php ?] tags aren't of any use to me. What I'd to see is a module that will filter anything inside a [code] tag to the HTML excape characters and insert
's wherever needed. I'd also like to have the code highlighted in the manner that the quote module works.

I hope this is in the right forum... Ive got problems with the modules members and formmail. I use the latest stabile Drupal and all is working fine just those two are not...

It doesnt show a link in my theme?!? So how can anyone formmail me as webmaster?

When I push the members link in the menu it says page not found but the rights are correct, what can be wrong?
