Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

HELP! I'm confused

Something very confusing just happened on my drupal based blog.

For no apparent reason, the body of every single node and comment has become the single word: "process"

All of the data is still there in the database (and I've dumped it for safe keeping) but the site doesn't display that, only "process."

Anyone have any ideas?

Trouble with images

I have just installed the images module and gotten it all working. However I ahve uploaded a test picture and I can't see it. It uploaded okay, but I just get the red 'x' that says the picture isn't there. I have pictures enabled on my browser. Is there anything else that needs to be set. I also have this problem with my phpBB install, I can't see the icons. I have been onto another phpBB install and I can see them there, so I was wondering if there is some server setting that might be missing.

Can anyone help?

Distributed authentication doesn't work

I'm trying to get distributed authentication to work on snoop.alphanet.ch, but for some reason it doesn't work with drupal.org user ID. Drupal module is enabled and in stock configuration, I'm running 4.4.1.

I entered "mousse-man@www.drupal.org" and the password (else I wouldn't be here...), but nada. Do I need to open a special port on the firewall so that Drupal can get out (besides port 80?)? Or do I have to customize something the drupal.org module?

Remove items from Recent Posts

Hi,

I am using the import module, so that news feeds show up as nodes. It works great, except that I'd prefer that news items didn't show up on the 'Recent Posts' node of the tracker module.

Is this possible?

XTemplate: Changing theme's CSS dynamically

I would like to separate some sections by changing their respective CSS file.

Something like www.csszengarden.com, but to change dynamically.

I have sections sorted in taxonomy vocabularies and terms, some of them
are individual pages.

The website would have 1 main colour scheme and 5-6 different ones, in separate CSS files.

I was wondering if someone could give me an advice on implementing this feature?
