Post installation

I am trying customize the Interlaced theme and I have noticed a couple fo problems that I can seem to fix.

1. In order to have a black background I created a small tiling black square. This worked out okay. However the icons in the menu, you know, the little triangles and circles are also black, and I can't see any where in the CSS where their colour would be changed.

So, how can I change the colour of these little things?

I"ve struggled with this for a few days now.. I have all the other settings correct and even can use the mov -- quicktime fliexinode field that also relies on get id3. However when upload mp3 the follwoing happens.

Here is what is happening. You can try yourself by logging in and
trying to create and mp3. When I upload the mp3 with IE it appears
that its working then halfway in the progress it stops and just goes
to a blank page. Nothing is uploaded. With Firefox or mozilla it
doesnt seem to even try.

I am running 4.5.1 and still get a blank page when trying to configure the search. Watchdog gives menu errror for the page which maybe why the link does not work.

I would like to know how I can create a new page but not make it look like a post, ex. not showing 'Submitted by User on Day, 00/00/0000 - 00:20' and removing the right navigation menus in certain pages if possible.

The news aggregator ver 4.5 is working well with cron. My issue is how can you limit the number of feed items received in each category. (admin/aggregator/list)

When someone clicks on http://drupalsitename.org/polls, a list of all polls is generated. Great, simple enough. But let's say you've got polls in 5 different categories. How can you pull up a page that lists all the polls in just one of those categories?

What I do now is to have a term for each of the different node within a vocabulary. For example, I have have:

Apples
--Polls about apples
--Stories about apples
--Events about apples
--Forums about apples
--etc.
