Post installation

Hi,

I installed the Image.module and it works. I can upload images, create galleries and so on. But when i use the directory upload:fast I get this error message

warning: imagejpeg(): Unable to open 'tmp/tmpimg_d9de07fb51dd0f68dc7ea37e86571027.jpg'
for writing in /(path shortened)/public_html/test/modules/image/image.inc on line 532

Although, all the images are actually transferred from /tmp to /images and /tmp is cleaned afterwards. So does anybody have any idea what might be wrong?

i have created a menu by name weblogs, the message this is the message got

Created new menu item weblogs.
Since a menu item home already exists for , this new menu item was created as a shortcut to that location.

I dont want any shortcuts to other menus (created by nodes). How to create menus without shortcut...

Hello all,

Drupal is up and running and I'm loving it. To think I almost went with WebGui.

Anyway, I'm having a difficult time defining forums. When I go to Administer there is NO option for "Forums," so I am unable to define the forums for my site.

Did I forget to do something? I repeat, the option for "Forums" is NOT under the "Adminster" menu, and I DO have the Forum module installed.

Hi gang,

I've created a static page called: front

administer > settings > default front page: front

Now, I have a block, and I want it to NEVER appear when it's on the front page. It goes away if i use the following regex in it's path: <^(?!front)> AND I visit: mysite.com/front

But, if I go to: mysite.com I get the block still. :(

Any ideas peeps? I know you won't let me down. I can feel the love coming.

I was wondering what other non-programmers are doing in regards to patching their Modules.

As you can see the patches are dated after 3/11/04 and should somehow get into this Module. The maintainer is not currently accepting emails. How are you doing this housekeeping chore? This isn’t anything urgent, I’m just very curious.
