I cannot see how to do multiple image uploads. Image module is working fine, but does not support it AFAICT.
Do I need some other modules, or am I missing something?
I did RTFM, such as it is....
Looking at the list of modules, I count five or six different modules dealing with taxonomy and taxonomy pages. But all the descriptions are a bit opaque... I'm not sure which ones, if any, do what I'm hoping to do.
Here's what I want to do:
I have my nodes divided into about 15 different categories. Each catagory should have its own index page. The taxonomy page (mysite/taxonomy/term/1 for instance) lists all the nodes in that category. Great! But I want to make it more functional. What I want:
My forum have a number of topics, say JAVA, PHP and C++. Now say if I want only Site Admin to view and to write to the JAVA topic but still allowing public access to the other two. How could I do this?
I don't want to use taxonomy_access nor simple_access, the former module cannot work in my case, I don't know why...
My users are inexperienced on using forums like Drupal's. They often use the comments box - which appear handy right bellow a topic - to introduce brand-new subjects. I'd like to include in my phptemplate theme a brief paragraph to instruct users on how to submit comments (something like "This form is for comments, questions or answers about [forum topic's title] only. If you want to introduce a new subject, please choose create content>new forum topic."). I suppose I have to edit some tpl.php file to achieve that. Could someone tell how can I do that?
Thanks.
I am not a programmer and pretty new to drupal. Can anyone tell me how I can change colours, layout etc in any given theme? E.g. starting from the standard drupal theme setting I would like to change the blue header colour to green and add in some of my own elements etc.
Is there an easy way of doing this or can I only do this with in-depth programming knowledge or by creating my own theme?
I'm starting to make progress with implementing Drupal. However, I'm going round in circles trying to work out the best combination of modules/settings to achieve the following. The site I'm creating is a teaching resources website and will have 3 types of user.
