Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

Tinymce - can't use "Edit HTML Source" in Firefox

Hi,

I've just installed Tinymce and I was so pleased with it that I bought the two commercial plugins available on the tinymce site. I also added some extra features for the advanced theme.

Everything is working fine so far apart from the "Edit HTML Source" button which works in IE but not in Firefox. I know that the clipboard operations are not available in Firefox but I can't find anything in the documentation about "Edit HTML Source". Does anyone know if it's possible to get this feature working in Firefox?

Thanks,

Jeff

searching user profiles

I want to search specific profile fields for matching content. For example, say the profiles have the fields gender, age and location. I want to be able to search the profiles for gender=female, age=18-30, and location=california How do I do this? Is there an easy way, or would I have to write my own module?

Editing blocks...

Whenever I add a new block the block's HTML looks like this:

<div class="block block-block" id="block-block-2">

 <h2 class="title">title of block</h2>
 <div class="content">

I tried looking for a place where I can get rid of this, but can't find it. I also want to get rid if the closing tags for each of these

's.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Banner in header

I'm using a banner from a banner network to attract more users to my drupal site. I tried alot to place the banner in the header so it would be more nice to see and be integrated in the webpage. Because the drupal code is not only html (I think) I'm not able to do this. Is there any way to do this so that the banner won't draw to much attention?
Thanks!

Newbie question on tables

I've spent awhile looking at the multitude of Drupal options etc.
What I can't find is any information on modifying data within a table which has been displayed on a page.
An example might be:
2 tables ...

1. the parent which might contain author information
2. the child which would contain books including the author_id, title etc.

New user help

I have this awesome software package installed, up and running, no problem! I've installed a few modules and played around with a couple of themes.

The only problem I am having right now is simply trying to wrap my mind around the relationship between categories, taxonomies, pages and stories.

It's a new paradigm, and I keep reading how powerful a tool drupal is, beyond simply building hierarchies and blogs. Somewhere, just beyond my peripheral vision, I keep catching glimpses of the things that could be done, but somewhere I am JUST NOT GETTING THE BASICS.
