I need to develop a Travel web site with the following features:

Events calendar
Online Reservation and Booking Engine
Partners Areas with their own Login
Package Creation
Tours Display that can be changed on the fly
Newsletter
Blog
Customers signup and history kept
Forum
SpeciaLS
Give-A- Ways

Can this be done in Drupal? If no what is the best system for this project.

I have horizontal menu with primary-links where entries link to simple user menus.
Is it possible to hide the default menu icons for individual menus?

How do I setup Localization so that visitor can choose their language from the front page or splash screen.

Had anyone been able to get the vimcolor.module to work under a freeBSD server?
I installed the module.
I installed text-vimcolor as the instrutions stated
I also changed the hard coded paths to '/usr/local/bin/text-vimcolor'

Any help would be appreciated =)

I'm looking for a way to display the content of a folder (Mostly PDFs and DOCs) in a module in Drupal. Anyone know of an easy way to do this? I rather not load all the files as they are arleady sorted into the correct directory. Just looking for a module that will listing them all on a page and link to them.

Hello everyone,

I've created a flexinode that has two text areas, and I would like to limit the number of characters in one of them, kind of like the synopsis for any normal content type that you see on the front page, but a different content block. Any suggestions?
