Is there any piece of software that you guys would recommend for working with logos? Is there a specific size/format that the logo file has to be in for optimal effect?

How do I locate the version I'm currently running ? I don't remember if I'm already updated to 4.6.3 or whether I'm using 4.6.1 at this point. Is there a file or location in the Admin to find this ?

I am interested in having three main blogs on my site on three different subjects. However, I do not want the blog service to be available to users. Can this be done in Drupal?

Hi, I just installed drupal on a site(www.mashband.org) with few accounts where none more will need to be created by anyone but the admin. I tried to get rid of the login blocks except for on a few pages when a user is logged in on a page, with no avail. How would I do this?

How can I use SVN or CVS when a new version is released to mirror the new release easier? What kind of strategoy are you already implementing for example to update modified files, add new files, and remove unused files from a previous release checkout ? It should not interfere with your own files in the same tree of course. I'd like to manage mine easier but not sure where or how yet.
