Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

How do I write the php code to print a blog link

Pretty simple request I believe.

I am submitting a page with the php code input format. I want the page to say:

"The direct link to your blog is www.website.com/blog/USERNAME" (I don't want it to appear as a link, just text)

How do I write the php code to simply print the USERNAME as text. The username would change based on which user is viewing the page.

Thanks!

Creating a 'Content Editor' Role...

I'm trying to setup a Role called "Content Editors" that would give members permission to edit all site content types -- without any other administrative access. No such luck so far, i seem to be limited to the user_1 full access, or "edit my own page" access, with nothing in between.

Search module is case sensitive

Really confused about Aggregator and crontabs.

Hi.

I really need help with setting up a cron job on my host's Unix webserver so Aggregator will update properly.

I have Hsphere and don't see anything in there for crons but I do see some cron files (such as curl) when I ftp to the server. I also see a cron.php in the root as well.

I have read every page in the handbook about setting up a cron job using wget and lynx, but this stuff is just making my head hurt. I don't understand it at all.

Can I just edit some files directly on the server or is it not that easy?

Thanks,
Alan
