Post installation

I'm very new to Drupal and have hit a small problem. I originally installed Drupal 4.7 beta, but seeing as I was new thought it'd best to take a step back and go with 4.6.5 whilst I learn.

I had a play around with the themes whilst I had the beta installed, downloaded numerous, uploaded to my themes directory and had them working no problem at all.

I'm running 4.6.3. I'm developing a game site for a specific game and I want to offer clans/squads their own pages at mysite.com/your-group-url, preferably by using an existing module or one I can download and the integrated path module.

It'd be nice to also allow groups to have their own forums. A necessity is that I need to let groups edit their own pages, but not have permission to edit other groups' pages.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure if this is a 4.7 beta bug or simply because I don't have the right settings clicked somewhere but

I've created a Flexinode type called "Entry." I'm adding vocabulary to it so that people can categorize their entries.

I've set up two categories/vocab types so far:

1. Country

This is a multi-select category with pre-defined terms. When I view this as though I was a user about to create content, I see the help text I set up in Administer>>Categories>>Add Vocabulary

2. Region/City

I would like to print a "Bookmark This Page" link that pops up the add to favorites/bookmark box for the browser. I think this functionality works only with IE and uses javascript.

I believe one way to do this is modify the page.tpl.php file, and put a code snippit to display the link within the header. However, I do not know what this code snippit is. Does anyone know?

I created a some of block, and made a hyper-link; But I do not know how to make a hyper-link it can display the content of the link to the central of the frame.
For example,

1. I uploaded a some of pdf at the folder (/files/*.pdf), how I can link with its? and display the content of pdf at the central of the frame.
2. And If I made a some static html, I want the block was link with its. It will diaplay it at the central of the frame when I click the item of the block. How to do it?

Is it possible to promote one piece of content to the front page for some users (say, unregistered users) and another, different piece of content for other types of users (say, registered users)?

I want to have a greeting page for unregistered users and the content there just gets in the way for registered users whom I want to go straight to blog content.
